Everyone has different pain tolerances so this question couldn’t really be answered honestly. The piercing itself is quick, most would describe it as a pinch.

Healing typically isn’t so bad, depending on the piercing it’s about 6-12 weeks for initial healing. After you get the piercing the piercer will go over in depth how to take care of it with you. Keeping it clean and keeping your hands away are key!

It really depends on what piercing it is. If you are 16 or under, you will have to come in with a parent or guardian, and we have restrictions on certain piercings like dermals, genitals and dense cartilage. Our general philosophy is we’d like for person that’s getting pierced to give positive confirmation and hence the age variations.

We offer most piercings, however some piercers have certain preferences to which piercings they are comfortable doing, and some are anatomy dependent. What that means is that not everyone’s body is suitable for every piercing and the only way to tell is for our piercer to take a look in person.

We use hollow hypodermic needles for all piercings!

The jewelry cost is separate from the piercing.

We use implant-grade titanium, and we also have 14k or 18k gold options (nickel free) as well, both are optimal for healing.

We do! We have 14k or 18k rings and studs in store at the Eglinton or Gerrard studios.

It depends on what piercing you have, anything external is cleaned 3 times a day, twice a day with a saline spray/ wash and once a day with an anti-bacterial soap applied to the area, and anything oral is used with an alcohol-free mouth wash around 6-8 times a day. You can always stop by or call in to get a more in-depth explanation.

It depends what your symptoms are, a lot of people mistake the red bump as an infection 
but the best way to tell would be to come in to our studio or if you can’t, any reputable piercing studio and get a piercer to take a look at it.
If there’s discolouration, pain, or pus filled blisters, then you should see a doctor right away.

It really depends on the placement of your piercing, such 
as navel, nipple or dermal we don’t suggest any vigorous exercise immediately afterwards. Keeping it clean and wearing loose clothing and/or keeping your hair away from your new piercings is key!

Typically yes, however we always recommend waiting at least 4 weeks after removing it to re-pierce it so the area has time to heal over. We suggest coming in person so the piercer can assess the area and give you a better idea if it’s okay to be re-pierced.
